Writer's Strike
As I was watching the Heroes finale last night I was thinking how bummed I was that I wasn't going to see another new episode until after the writers' strike is over. This afternoon I got a call on the air talking about the writers' strike and how it might not work so much in their favor since, without new episodes to watch, viewers may go to other networks and check out other shows they don't normally get to see. That may not bode well for when the writers go back. They may lose some of their audience. This may also get some of us who may be just a bit addicted to TV to get off the couch and do other things. I was reading an article today that if the strike continues much longer it could put in jeopardy the entire rest of the season and could be a problem with pilots of potential new shows for next fall. I was surprised to hear that because I thought we'd start seeing new shows within a few weeks after the strike is settled. Apparently, that's not the case. I really don't remember the strike from 1988 and how it affected all the TV shows. What do you think? Will you look for other ways to fill your time or will you remain waiting with baited breath for your shows to come back?

Would you like to go out to dinner with me?
It was nice to stalk you today.
