Crazy Browns Game!
I didn't get a chance to blog yesterday so I'm going to talk about the Browns game today. I was driving to my sister's house on the west side of Cleveland Sunday afternoon because we were celebrating my brother-in-law's birthday. I was listening to the game on the way up and getting frustrated because we lost the 13 point lead. And I thought....here we go AGAIN!! Cleveland sports always seem to blow it at the end. Then I was almost at my sister's house and Phil Dawson attempts the long field goal kick with 3 seconds on the clock and I hear the announcer say the football bounced back into the field of play. Then....the controversy. Of course, I can't see the play because I'm still in the car and I finally got to the house just as they ruled the field goal was good. I ran in the house and, of course, the game was on so I finally got to see the replay. And you know the rest of the story, Browns win! What a game! All I could think of was the Cardiac Kids from the early 80s. It was exciting! But I don't know if my nerves can take many more games like that! Of course, if we keep winning I'll take a win any way I can. It's been a good year for Ohio sports between OSU going to the national championship last year, Cavs going to the NBA finals, Indians going to the ALCS, OSU beating Michigan this past weekend and the Brown's possibly going to the playoffs for the first time in a lot of years. Like I said, I'll take a win any way I can. Go Browns!!
