Greatest TV Icons Top 50 List

I talked today about the fact that TV Land network and Entertainment Weekly magazine has compiled a list of "The 50 Greatest TV Icons".  TV Land will have a 2 hour special Friday night about it and Entertainment Weekly covers it in their magazine this week.  I take issue with a few of them.  First of all, what's Calista Flockhart doing on the list?  Seriously.  I was a fan of Ally McBeal but it was only on about 5 years and I wouldn't call her an 'icon'.  She's #49 and comes in higher than  Larry Hagman.  Then Lassie is only at #46!  I think Lassie should be higher than that!  There were Lassie books, a TV show and TV movies about Lassie!  Anyway, here's the list.  Check it out and let me know if you disagree with any of them and if there were any left off.

50. Larry Hagman
49. Calista Flockhart
48. Jimmy Smits
47. Simon Cowell
46. Lassie
