Toy Hall of Fame Inductees
The National Toy Hall of Fame inducted a new class of toys this week in Rochester, New York. This year's inductees include Atari 2600 game system, the kite and Raggedy Andy (Raggedy Ann was inducted in 2002). It just got me thinking about toys I played with as a kid. We didn't have an Atari system when I was little but I played some of my friends' Ataris. Video games aren't my strong suit but I remember having a great time with Asteroids and Space Invaders. Video games have come such a long way since then! I actually have some of the old games in a system that plugs into a VCR. My 11 year old nephew has it, too, and he has beaten me every time we play. Yeah, I feel uncoordinated. Here are the rest of the toys that have been inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame. Take a look and tell me if there are any that have been missed and should be inducted.
