Monopoly
It was on this day in 1935 that we were first introduced to Monopoly! Wow! And a classic was born! I played A LOT of Monopoly as a kid. There are some great stories about Monopoly. One of them was about a group of fraternity brothers who were playing a marathon game at the University of Pittsburgh in 1961. After 4 days of playing they ran out of money. Well, by the official rules, the bank NEVER goes broke so they wired Parker Brothers who sent $1,00,000 in Monopoly money by plane and had it met by Brink’s Armored car at the airport.
